The Dragon in the Garden Tour and Giveaway!

The Dragon in the Garden
The Watcher Rising Series #1
by Erika Gardner
Genre: Epic Urban Fantasy

There is magic beneath the mundane and in The Dragon in the Garden, Siobhan Orsini witnesses it all. No lie can fool her, no glamour or illusion can cloud her Sight. She sees through them all and wishes she could close her eyes. Returning to face her past, Siobhan inherits her grandparents’ house in California’s wine country. She encounters a talking dragon, a hot fallen angel, a demon lord, a Valkyrie, and, oh yes, her ex-boyfriend. And that is just in the first twenty-four hours.

It’s time to find out why she has this power.

Siobhan seeks out the Oracle and learns that only her Sight can help mankind navigate the travails of an ancient war. Our world is the prize in a battle between the dragons, who would defend us, and Lucifer’s fallen angels, who seek to take the Earth for themselves. Using her gift, she will have to make a choice that will decide humanity’s future.

Erika is a sixth generation San Franciscan of Irish descent. She attended the University of California at Davis and completed degrees in Medieval History and Biological Sciences. A lifelong lover of books and a scribbler of many tales from a young age (her first story was completed at age five) she turned to writing full-time in 2011.

On a personal level she loves spicy food, twilight, dark chocolate (with sea salt-yum!) and nickel slots at Vegas. Erika lives for time with friends, a nice glass of red wine, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” & “Doctor Who” and good conversation. Her favorite things to do are running, cooking, reading, needlework, gardening… and of course, writing. Erika's music of choice is heavy metal. To pick her out in a lineup you should know that she is very short, fairly loud, and has dark eyebrows. The rest, as her hero Anne McCaffrey once said in her bio, “is subject to change without notice”.

Erika resides in Northern California with her incredibly hot husband, their three amazing kids, and their chocolate Labrador named Selkie. To reach Erika regarding her books, wine recommendations, or to debate which Iron Maiden album is the best (clearly, it’s Brave New World)

Gybe
By Kristi M Turner
Genre: YA Contemporary Fiction

Nicole is an 18-year-old, juvenile delinquent who desperately wants to take control of her life but must find a way to overcome her own self-sabotage and a judge who will not easily let her escape her past. She keeps food on her plate and clothes on her back by stealing. It is far from the life she wants, but she has known little kindness in her life and, therefore, gives little back. When Judge Newton charges her for the first time as an adult, Nicole recognizes a separating path. She can stay on her path to destruction or she can accept the unexpected generosity of the Kutcher family, whose house she is charged with burglarizing.

Child psychologist, Cynthia Kutcher, believes she can help Nicole confront her anger and build back the self-worth she lost when her father abandoned her to a drunken uncle after her mother’s death.

Along the way to building a more valuable life, Nicole meets Keagan, an affluent young man with whom she begins an often overwhelming love affair despite the conflicts their disparate pasts bring.

Kristi M. Turner grew up in a quaint little southern town in central Alabama. After high school, she went on to further her education at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She never dreamed that one day she would become an author, however, sometimes, life throws you curve balls. After her precious daughter was born, she suffered from post-partum and all the self-help books tell you to write your feelings down. For her, that didn’t work. Instead, she wrote Gybe. Kristi M. Turner currently lives in Curry, Alabama with her husband and daughter, along with their Shih-tzu, Bingo. She enjoys reading, writing, Hulu, Netflix, music of all kinds, the beach, and bantering with her husband on a fall Saturday over football. For their house is divided. The Selenium Night Tour and Giveaway!

Selenium Night
by Kharma Kelley
Genre: Paranormal Werewolf Shifter Romance

ShadowShifters - Shapeshifting wolf creatures that love as fiercely as they fight.

Aidan Bloodlocke never dreamed he was a wolf Shifter, much less an Alpha. When a pack takes him in, his entire world changes, and loyalties are developed. Then disaster strikes, and he’s on a ruthless mission for justice.

When veterinarian Maddie Ardelle moved to Bridgepoint, Maine, to start a normal, peaceful life on her own, she didn’t expect to get herself caught in the crossfire of two factions of violent, feuding werewolves. And definitely not entangled with a sexy biker shifter that made her weak in the knees. Against their will, Maddie and Aidan’s worlds collide, and with an attraction so enthralling, both are helpless to resist.

As Aidan struggles to fight for both love and duty, he uncovers a betrayal so heinous, it puts the lives of his entire pack and the brave woman he desires at unthinkable risk. The stakes are high, and both must decide if Maddie ultimately can live in his violent world of teeth and claw in this action-packed paranormal romance series!

A Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy author, Kharma Kelley has been enamored with all things that go "bump in the night" for who knows how long. She truly believes that finding humanity and beauty in some of the most seemingly unconventional places is part of the romantic psyche to her. A big fan of the Big Easy, Kharma tends to weave her proud Cajun heritage and values into her books. She enjoys reading other urban fantasy and romance novels and playing Minecraft in her spare time.

"Tall, Dark & Deadly" is the first book of her "Agents of The Bureau" series. Expect more sexy, dangerous and even hilarious installments to be released along with a new "ShadowShifter" series coming in 2017.

She frequents Wattpad (which she refers to as a story "incubator") often and beta tests her new story ideas there as well as provide guidance and critiques to aspiring authors.

Her works are often compared to Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole and the late great author, L.A. Banks.

Quote from Kharma Kelley on writing Paranormal Romance:

"There's something intriguing about strong women finding love in all the "wrong" places in the world of fantasy. Of angels, demons, ghosts, werewolves and your occasional blood sucker, all these paranormal metaphors are catalysts of what humans are and crave most...that we're all different, beautiful and a little bit weird--and just want someone to love us for who we are."

She lives in Texas with her husband.

How many lives will be lost because of sexual desires and memories from the past?

I’m Ellie Douglas, and like you, I love horror, everything about horror, the goriest and most gruesome of horrors is the ultimate. I can’t get enough. So much so that I write horror. That need to be graphic, and explicit with my horror scenes makes me stand out. I give what I want to read to others, so now they can enjoy a true horror story.

I’m not all about just being graphic, I also build characters that the readers will love and or hate, so they can feel pulled right inside of the story that they are reading. It gives me so much enjoyment when I hear remarks like, ‘You made me want to puke,’ ‘I have nightmares every damned night –thanks,’ and ‘Quentin Tarantino and Steven King made a baby, YOU!’ when I hear comments like that, I know then I’ve succeeded, that also pushes me into writing more and becoming even better.

I’m fun loving, generous and very mysterious. I enjoy spending time with my family, and have four children to keep the horror writing alive. I enjoy helping others and volunteer my services to help Autistic children, I love cosplay and the chance to dress up as a monster, zombie or some other gritty character is fun, oh so much fun.

I love summer, and well…I hate winter. I live in New Zealand and feel often too far away from all the cool stuff going on in the world. I love helping people all the time. I’ve got my hands dipped in a few things, I write books, but I also make professional book covers for other authors, I also create adult coloring books and I have a gambling app that I designed on the apple store :) I’ve always got a project going, be it writing or creating, that is who I am and I love it :)

My ultimate aim is to give back, paying it forward, to constantly better myself and give the audience amazing stories. Let me scare you…

Day 241...365 Days of Gratitude

1) Thank you for  the poop emoji , that thing is jokes. Thank you thank you thank you !

2) Thank you for paper trays.  Thank you thank you thank you !

3) Thank you for  construction paper crafts. Thank you thank you thank you !

4) Thank you for  candy apples. Thank you thank you thank you !

5) Thank you for  magickal artisan crafts. Thank you thank you thank you !

9) Thank you for root beer jello , so remember that stuff.  Thank you thank you thank you !

10) Thank you for  believing in a wish . Thank you thank you thank you !

How to make a paper tray box

I love these little tray boxes. You can manipulate the size of your construction paper to make any size box you wish. This box is a no lid, ( in the picture I made a paper cover to act as the lid for the little red one, I made a sort of book out of it)

You need just 3 things( well 4 , you may need a ruler to start , I eye ball and use my own foulproof system to measure without a ruler) .
Scissors
Glue
Any colour piece of construction paper.

You want to make sure your paper is on the horizontal to start , the cuts need to be made on the horizontal.

And then you make 4 small cuts

in each corner go down 2 inches and then cut into horizontal 3 inches, do that in each corner and you will have 4 flaps
(Ignore all the folds you do not need them , just part of my need no ruler method and not part of the box, I had to)

I do at this time fold the flaps on the horizontal to make the box for easier , just more for a guideline when you go to fold the flaps in
I fold both sides up picture is just a visual .

Now fold your box .

Fold each flap into the side piece, glue them in place for support .

Do this for all four pieces.

You are left with flaps, just fold them over first so you have the crease , then glue along this piece as well and fold over to finish your paper box tray.

And.. voila simple and easy to make . You can manipulate the sizing , to make many different sizes , as you can see from my top photo. Just remember to cut along the horizontal .

Kevin Fleming was born and still lives in Liverpool. He worked for a large telecoms company for over twenty years before leaving to run his own business for a further fifteen years.
