June 24-June 28

24th
Wow got everything sorted out for Passports. Had to fill some out on the computer then some I wrote. Thankfully have someone to sign for the boys to get theirs. I was def thinking when I decided to spend the money and get them. . With the price jumping alot as of July 1, it was def. a good idea to get them now.  Little man was not having while we were in there though. So apart from my Mom brain which I had to apologize for, I also had to apologize for the cranky baby. And wow Mom brain and stress was wicked today esp. trying to get everything together for the Passport adventure. You always feel like some sort of convict when you walk into those Government offices. The cold stares from the attendants behind the glass, but their job and I would assume not an easy one either. Of course parking in Kitchener no less is a pain and you have to pay... unfortunately the lady parked beside me took her sweet time in getting into her car that it put me 2 min over my 30 min and had to pay 4 bucks instead of 2 to get out . ( not a biggy really , but 2 min lol)

Another day at the beach, my brother came with me again. He seems to be the only one out of the boys that like to come with me and Little man. I love it we can chit-chat and he helps with Little man to. We stopped at Rockton Berry Farm a little Village shop along the way on Hwy 8 and got ourselves a home-made huge cinnamon bun .. WOW what an amazing treat. looks like we have a new stop for our to the beach trips. Was so moist and delicious, and fresh. Nothing tastes better than home-made. It was a shame that they are not a running Berry farm any more. I remembered as a very young child out in their large fields picking berries with my Nana.
Didn't stay long as the Thunder clouds came rolling in. No lightening which was a good thing. Luckily we knew enough from the look of the sky to start heading to the van and we made it just in time.
I was craving fresh strawberries and picked up Bestie and ran to a farm outside of town , which I thought was going to be open but was closed. We hit up Zehrs instead and got a few goodies while there. I really always seem to find the goods.Couponing, scooping sales and buying clearouts are the only way to stretch your dollars.

My oldest had a job interview with Tim Hortons today. I was excited for him, I know he is wanting the job. I know I would love for him to have a job, will help ease a little off my pocket book. :)
I had a pick up a really cool gift from a friend for Little man today , a beautiful crotched owl toy. He loved it.He also was given 3 new DVDs to watch.
Got Bestie as well and we hit up the Farmers market here in Preston. I got alot of fresh veggies, and we stumbled by a lady with home-made baked goods. Oh man the treats were reasonably priced and OMG delicious. Going to go back next week and grab some more goodies. She has sugar cookies perfect for Little Man and he loved them . Just hope she has more this week coming.
Wow so one of my boys got their passport today, unbelievable really we were just there Monday. But I love that yes, yet again we have to go down to SDM to pick it up. You had better bet that I was excited to see what was on sale or clearout again this time and yet again I was not disappointed.

Insane start to the morning,I actually had a Mail man walk over a bunch of stuff for me. There was a surprise sample pack of Kuerig cups ( my sister has one so I will gift them along ), I got 2 of the 3 things I ordered from Pampers Gifts to Grow, and I got the Brand Sampler Pack from the Target Promotion.IT was fun to open and just put away in my packed bag. Once I move I can`t wait to go through all my samples and freebies there are so many .
On the very RAINY drive to meet the Realtor to view the Mobile Home , I made a detour to Sobeys to pick up some FREE BBQ sauce. I had 4 Sweet Baby Rays 2.00 off coupons so of course I got 4 ( as they were on sale for 1.99) and came out without spending a dime :). The fact that it was a freebie is awesome. I walked to the Van , so glad that my oldest had no objections watching little man while I ran in (still teeming rain) and he shook he head at me , but in a good way . Free is free :).

Both arrived at met up early and we headed to view the property. I can`t begin to describe the beauty of this home . I just steeped inside and it felt like my home. The place is beautiful. Not caring about the rain or anything everything seemed to blend out of existence. Had to leave oldest and little man waiting in the van while I had a look around , I sent my oldest in to have a look after I was done. Little man was so well behaved it was great . Oldest loved the place to. So beautiful , 2 beautiful rooms, an amazing Sun Room to die for , the bathroom was huge with washer and dryer in it and still crazy room , the kitchen and living room are gorgeous. It would be an understatement to say that I want the place. I just feel in love with the home and the outside as soon as I saw the pictures and OMG stepping foot inside solidified it even more. The extra perks are all appliances stay incl a Gazebo and patio set. Just love that place, I want that place. It is about 30 min out of town, we passed amazing scenery and I just want so badly to live out there . I just want to get away to this absolutely beautiful little community, to the most beautiful little house. And wow owned by a couple in their 80`s. They took such amazing care of the home as well. So clean,so beautiful, it has my heart.  Have not really been able to concentrate bc of the impact this place has had on me.. I want to will it into being :) I will take the day dreaming bc some times you just never know ;)

Can`t believe that the other passport came in as well. Just so happy and quick, 4 days to get them , WTG Passport Canada. Of course that meant yet again that I would have to make another trip to Shoppers Drug Mart. :) Of course I picked up the last 2 boxes of the SDM Brand of Pediasure (K so OMG tastes like a milkshake) Zach actually drinks it and I am glad a little more nutrition is perfect. I got 1 more pack of toilet paper to add to my stash :) Royale on sale again and I still have coupons, and of course I got 1 more pack of the Pull Ups on Clearout .

June 23 American Civil War re-enactment at Westfield Heritage Village

I have to start off by saying that for myself I absolutely LOVE walking through this Village. Nestled on Kirkwall Road, as part of the Hamilton Conservation Authority, this amazing back in time Village boasts cabins, homes, relics artefacts, and  period dressed volunteers of yester year. Just unbelievable to be able to walk around and immerse yourself back to a time as early as the 1800's. Here is a link to their web-site .

( I would strongly suggest looking at purchasing a Nature's Rewards yearly Conservation Pass..it not only allows you to visit and re-visit Westfield but you get entrance to the many Conservation areas under the Hamilton Conservation Authority incl. Valens Beach, Christie Lake etc.
http://www.conservationhamilton.ca/natures-rewards)

Family outing today to Westfield as they are Re-enacting the American Civil War. As always packed a lunch to enjoy while we are there waiting for the Battle that begins later in the afternoon.
We got to walk around a bit before the battle and the town was buzzing with Period dressed volunteers.

 Just love the dresses.

 Army camp.

The "fighting " volunteers, getting into character and providing a drill show.
Just absolutely love walking around. Of course we needed to hit up the store and purchase some of their made on site maple syrup(which is amazingly fabulous, not to mention you can go to the Village early March and watch them taping the Maples and boiling the sap down into  the delicious maple Syrup. Oh and of course there is a pancake breakfast as well with the fresh , sweet, delicious syrup in tow)

Off to the Meadow for the Re-enactment.
It was great fun watching the "show" . All volunteers who were playing the parts did a fabulous job, and were really right into their character. I must say that it was a crazy hot day as well and some of those costumes must have made them uncomfortable but it never showed.

Shooting off the cannon.

It was such a beautiful outing and I just love Westfield Village. Such a wonderful place to take your family and have a picnic, sample delicious treats from either store, or from the Cafe (home-made delicious goodies, sweets, treats, foodies), walk around and enjoy true Canadian Culture at it's finest. You would be surprised at the tidbits of history you can come away with , just by talking to the volunteers. Each house , each relic has such an amazing story to tell, you won't be disappointed.

June 22 SuperHero Mom Status went through the roof !!!!

This is the coolest day ever..

Walmart trip for the Passport Photos, and of course I didn't even think about the day of the week it is.But walked right in and no one was there. Thank goodness Little man s big brother was able to get him to semi get the ic done with little trouble. When I was holding him three was no cooperation but of course that always happens . So of course here I am thinking that it was still 9 bucks to get the photo`s done, ummm nope 2 boys Passport pics cost just a little over 40 bucks.. Crazy inflation I would say. I did however need to pick up a few things while I was here in Walmart. Always have to check the sales and discount shelves to see what kind of goodies I can come home with .
Now I normally steer clear of the toy section as Little man is thankfully not at that stage yet, but I had a spend 10 bucks get 5 off for Fischer price, Mattel toysthat was close to exiring so I figured why not. I thought I would find something cheap and give it now or put it away for Christmas or Birthday.. Well OMG walked into the toy section smack into a display of Depicable Me Minion toys..
OMG found a Minion

There was no doubt to the fact that we were bringing the toy home. Little man had saw them and his eyes light up and he got soo excited. He loves the movie and now with a toy that I have been trying to find for months, the purchase was taking place. Of course the 5 dollar cheap toy shop went out the window and I ended up spending 45 ( taxes incl) for a toy. But not just any toy, Stuart the Minion from Despicable Me .(and with Despicable Me 2 out in theatres soon you can bet this little guy will be in tow with Little Man)
This boosts SuperHero Mom Status big time. I am soo happy to have found a minion , a toy my Little man LOVES.
The Shop would have been a lot less at Walmart but.... I don't count the toy purchase, that was a no brainer anyway. :)

June 20-21

20th
Day out with Sister and Bestie.. We managed to make our way to the Weston s Bakery and holy crap what a crazy shop we had . I forgot about that place and how cheap it is and the crazy amount of stuff you can get there. We decided to make this a once a month trip. Both myself and bestie had 5 or 6 bags each and we each only spent 20 bucks, My one sis, with the larger fam and all the boys she spent 80 bucks but she can out with a crazy cart full. We def had a great time. Anything that means sale and we are all over that , esp for food that we would be buying anyway. We probably looked silly to the other patrons in the store bc you could hear our excitement as we found something at an amazing price, and I am pretty sure you could have heard us yelling to each other having split up at certain times and looking for the unique goodies. Interestingly enough we came out with stuff each that each other never saw. It was a case of OMG where was that ,or I can`t believe you got that . It will def. be a fun trip 1 a month anyhow and def looking forward to it .
It was also my Nephews Fun Fair and we decided to go . It was actually a great Fair for a school, there were some Midway rides and little things for kids to do. Of course the Silen tAuction as always, which in reality the funniest thing was the beer There was a 12 pack in the silent auction and ppl had allready had it bided higher than a 24, so we though that was a little humorous when many things had no bids.
Bestie and I took off early as I was taking all the bigger boys to the Mustang Drive -In .(Of course we did get lost on the way back trying to walk to my Sisters house, well just another Adventure) Man of Steel played (42 was the second movie but we only stayed for Superman) It was car load night so for 6 of us to see the movie for 17 bucks total , I am not complaining. I am hoping that the 2 cartoons out this year Monster`s U and Despicable Me 2 play the same night, def a night for my little man. I wanted to take him to the theatre for Despicable Me 2 considering how much he loves that show, but def not a chance. Much easier for us go to the Drive-In .
Of course no matter what still have to purchase their small amount of over prized French Fries( they taste amazing) and of course the 3.00 drinks. Yes we take in snacks and yes we can grab LOTS of drinks before hand for less the price , but the fact that you save so much anyway on the ticket price, I can justify getting over-priced concession drinks.
Man of Steel was a great movie for myself, quite enjoyable. Little man stayed awake most entire 3 hours of the movie and wouldn't sit still. But all in all it was pleasurable.

21st
Off to the beach with the family (well some members) , again the older boys except for one brother didn`t want to go, so okay but my Sister , Niece, Cousin and her month old little man came along. As always a stop off at City Pizza to get 1.00 slices and we made the trek. We decided on Valens. My little man as always was tearing it up as he just loves, loves, loves the beach..

 Little Man and his Uncle...

 My Niece and Sister.
Little Man collecting more treasures, he sure loves sticks.
And of course he has a grip on the stick and I think that was seaweed in the other hand.

We were all craving a popscicle and just so happens that the mini tuck shop wasn`t opened. So there we go..We stayed for a little bit , but with little ones, a little bit is a long while. Not to mention of course how long it takes while trying to get ready to go and all packed up. I know my little man never wants to go , but soon enough when he is just a little bigger we could stay longer. Going to attempt a campout on night and lets see how that goes. He will of course be  `locked`in the tent once we zipper it up so maybe he will be able to make it through the night .
