Japanese Candy Unboxing DIY Soft Donuts and Giveaway

This time around with the Japanese Candy DIY tests we chose.Kracie Popin' Cookin' kit soft donuts DIY candy We love the Kracie Popin DIY Kits in this house.
As always you are hit with some pictures to muddle through with as you try to make sense out the the Japanese Instructions. Most times I check out the videos on Youtube to give me an idea what to do , but we are confident enough now to just wing it ; since we have tried a few of these DIY Kits. I left the picture upside down to symbolize exactly how you feel trying to figure these kits out , kerfuffled. .
Like a few other kits the outside package before you get into the actual kit , is part of the final decoration. Here you cut out the top part and can actually make a mini donut box to hold your creations in. Since that is a waste of time with my toddler I don't even bother to cut it out.
So lets have a look inside. You are given 2 "donut mixes" a chocolate and a vanilla. There was a pack of sprinkles, a pack of toasted cookie ? maybe for topping, 3 colours of icing in white, pink and dark brown , and your much needed plastic bowl and accessories, with the addition of a bag for icing in case you choose to use it . Each part of the plastic container have a use , so it is best to cut the sections out. You are always given a tiny triangle shaped piece and that is for your water . You are instructed to use just those amounts in order to make a perfect consistency .
We started with the Vanilla .
Added 2 water measures(may need 3). Stirred until all the powder was incorporated , then turned out to may hand and kneaded it a little. Separated the dough in half and pushed into the donut mold .
As you can tell it makes just enough for 2 donuts .
Flip the plastic container over and pop out your donut cuties. So easy to get out of the mold .
Chocolates turn, made exactly the same way as the vanilla .
This time a pic during the kneading process.
Followed the same steps as with the vanilla based donuts. Voila 4 cute mini donuts.
So here is everything placed out ready to decorate the donuts. Now all the while I have been working with a toddler so needless to say the experience has been an adventure, though fun at the same time. The icing needs no more than 1 measure . Now with my toddler he kept adding measures and we ended up with runny icing,
With all the goodies to dress our donuts with, we ended up with these beauties.
So apparently when candy slash donuts are involved we don't need to use our hands , we just dive in . To be fair he was patient while we were making them and that alone is a feat.
Chocolate icing lipstick .
The taste test from Mommies point of view, when I could steal a taste without my toddler getting mad. The actual donuts seemed to taste just like they were pudding, a dry pudding powder but the taste was quite acceptable to me. The sprinkles were just like sprinkle candy. The toasted bits that I think might have been cookie bits tasted like dry melba toast. That would be the only complaint though not truly a complaint just wasn't sweet enough for my taste. The flavour in the icing was magickal. The strawberry and vanilla were the most delicious icing I have ever tasted. They tasted just like their subsequent flavours of ice cream. The chocolate was so good also ,m though that icing ended up with 3 water measures so I got a watered down taste. Though due to the taste of the strawberry and vanilla , I would highly bet it was just like chocolate  ice cream. We were so happy to get such a yummy free surprise treat to make this time. After the foul attempt with the pizza Kracie Happy Kitchen Decoration Pizza Making Kit, (Yuck was savory and so not a candy that I thought it was going to be; though my face and my little guys face was priceless trying that DIY Kit. Would be a great prank for someone and worth the look on their face. Under $5 bucks and shipped free) it was a pleasant surprise with this candy treat. A delicious treat to ! I love that these kits can be purchased through Amazon for almost all less than $5 bucks and they are shipped free. Yes they come from Japan in most cases so it can take a few weeks but when they come is part of the surprise. So if you are thinking of getting your hands on some for Christmas then search here DIY Japanese Candy Kits and grab some fun for Christmas morning. A new idea instead of the same old candy we buy for stockings.
I am lucky enough to get all these kits completely free thanks to the free Amazon money I make through a few online sites. Swagbucks and  Instagc are just 2 sites I use for free money .
