If You Were Me and Lived on…Mars Review and Giveaway #IfYouWereMeAndLivedIn

This book is so awesome . Is it  mine to keep , I love it . I want to live on Mars.

I really adored this book. Apart from how much my son loved it and how much of a great read and story it was; there are other aspects to it as well. What blew me away with the story is the little tidbits in the book that show you how to sound out key component words related to the story invoking child interaction.

At the back of the book there is also a pronunciation guide with the definition. That makes this book an incredible teaching tool .

The perfect story to information ratio is a perfect key learning point as well. It gave my son a look into Mars and what it is like as a Planet in an informative and fun way .
The book is 37 pages long. No book keeps my sons attention , so of course I had to paraphrase the last few pages , but in no way a reflection on the story .
The book is  well written to encourage imagination as you are given enough in the story to paint a picture in your head of exactly how live would be.
The book has very cute but  simplistic story illustrations and are a perfect companion to the book.
I am very impressed with this story and the ages 4-8 is a perfect age range for the book.
I love that Carole P. Roman has written a lot of If You Were Me and Lived In ..... books, and it would be an asset to your home library to have as many as you can get your hands on . I would say an extreme asset to any Homeschooling families library , as each book is a lesson all on their own .

The book is also just a cute story as well. A perfect story to read with your child. Maybe not so much a bedtime story as in my house there were lots of questions , lots of questions.
A perfect way to go to Mars while sitting at home cuddled up with your imagination and a dream.
