Such a fast and easy to make syrup that can accompany just about anything and adds an element of sweetness.
Best served warm. Tastes great as a different topping for pancake or waffles. Delish on bread pudding.
1 Cup Sugar or sugar substitute and 1 TBSP of cornstarch , mix both of those in a saucepan on the stove( element off) .
Add 2 Cups of Cold Water whisk all together till blended,
With Medium -High Heat boil the mixture,Stirring occasionally : once the bubbles start , boil for one full minute.
Remove from heat and add 2 TSP of Vanilla , and 1/4 Cup of margarine or butter, whisk till butter is melted and blended.
If any is left you can store covered in the fridge for 1 week .
That is it, a yummy Vanilla Sauce which takes no time to make at all.
