Day 227 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 Man July kicked my butt with allergies, couple in the extra histamine from perimenopause and what an allergy whammy this month.

Worked on a couple things making when done will share .

Taste tested this fish shaped wafer cookie from Japan or so. Been wanting to taste test this for so long. Found it at Toy Tales in the mall for $1.99. Best price I found and did not have to have it shipped.

Absolutely delish, delish, delish. Tastes like strawberry wafer cookies but better for me. The cream so airy inside. Crispy wafer outside. 

Day 226 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 I love and adore these days. Such in the Vortex everywhere you turn with perfect company to boot. We just had the most amazing day. from first shoppers at a yard sale and getting amazing stuff for the kiddo, to an amazing walk and then some shopping in the mall. Just a wonderful day today. 

Mis-match of pics from the day. Kiddo scored big from a yard sale and from one of those free library's. We took an amazing walk at a new spot, found my favorite of all time thistle the top spot one. We hit the mall and just had an amazing day. I hope you did as well r can find it to just forget everything within and around you and have an amazing day. 

This is all the stuff from the grab bag, only 5 bucks for all this stuff. A lot of trash packs and that was the big seller. Tons my kiddo didn't have 

Right from 2006 Mega Blox dragon they had no clue what they were selling. Got it for 3 bucks. 3 bucks. The dragons batteries still work. The ones in the egg exploded but seems recent and not much damage at al to the toy so pretty sure I can fix it. 

I treated myself to Satsuma body spray and it was 20 % off so only like 12 bucks which is awesome. I am going to treat myself more often and grab everything Satsuma from the body shop and the vanilla line as well. 

My favorite of favorites. When it goes to seed going to ask the owner of the house if he will sell me some seeds. 

Nothing beats Spinach dip. I did not have any artichoke but was the best I have ever had and I made it. 

So much stuff went on today and more than posted but here is a taste anyway. 

Day 225 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 Kiddo just had to have some Timbits so went for the walk. Called ahead to have a box of 50 just chocolate glaze ready to go. Only kind he eat so thought go big and freeze some so he has some for multiple days. 

We had an adventurous walk anyway. Saw some beautiful ivy climbing a hydro pole, some roadworkers must be lost as they used City of Niagara cones. Find we me Niagara is on my brain and know that is where I am headed next or in and around that area. Just gonna let it unfold. 

Saw a beautiful ground cover and the lady was kind enough to dig some up for me and had it ready after I picked up the TimBits. We were on a time crunch for pick up. Needed something from Giant Tiger also but they were out; but found Lime Ricky Pop Shoppe. I had not seen Lime Ricky and years and was talking about it so much and wishing they got some in and there it was on the shelf. Going back for some more for sure at some point. It is so delish with splash of grenadine. 

Kiddo swam for a bit this afternoon and just window shopping on online food, candy and chocolate sites. My wishlists are getting loongg. 

Kiddo found a perfect leaf and we had to search it came from a tulip tree. Going to press it for him. 

 

Day 224 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 Thursdays are always yard work day but no work this week again due to dryness. Though not having that the day seems off a bit. But did a lot of crafting and working on my bottles and then decorating some of the hanging terrariums for my mini succulents. Still have no clue about what to plant my larger succulents, Ivy and Aloe in.  Ivy needs to hang from the ceiling so my kitties don't et any. Have to decide pretty soon though. Guess waiting for the right inspiration moment to hit. 

I love crafting and just making cool things. Quite rainy off and on all day so we didn't get a walk in. Def tomorrow looks nice for the day. 

Day 223 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 

Stuck my kiddos 2' 4 leaf clovers on to felt and then covered with laminate so he has them always preserved and won't get wrecked. 

Sorting, shifting and overhauling stuff is a pain. Love the outcome and how a purge clean feels, but still in the midst of disarray anyway so the shifting and figuring out where stuff goes while still fixing the walls and surroundings is as I said a pain. Finally figured out where the insane amount of crafts stuff was going and still in the middle of the resort now. 

Did take an impulsive break and went to the mall. The exact shoes I wanted were in the store and there was only 1 pair in my size that I could find. Never been in that store before, had no clue it was there and it is my new fave place to shop. Everything is crazy cheap.

My mini haul as I was not prepared with enough cash on hand to go crazy, but know exactly what I am hauling next time we go. A cool pair of kids joggers in cotton candy colors and jelllllllllyyyyy shoes. I seriously miss my jelly shoes of the 80's these are not exactly but are exactly the sandals I wanted. They are covered on gems so I am squeeeeeeee-ing. 

How I missed you jelly shoes.

Kiddo grabbed an alien long sleeved and a neat pair of joggers. His size is too hard to find. But will take a haul day just for him there and see what I can find esp paints. 

These balls were a magickal find really. They were all just sitting in the vend machine, from a play till win game. Kiddo just put them in his Mario Castle cage thing. 

Used the Wendy's hack and got him 5 nuggets and a toy for 2.40. Pretty cool builder toy thing too. 

Day 222 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 

Kiddo has those Lost Kitty figurines and one looks like Garfield so he set them up together.

I have not had nachos in a long time. Was out of sour cream but was great with just the Salsa

A beautiful white rose of sharon. Have not seen one this color before. 

Pretty yellow corn flour I think.

We took a later on walk to Tims so kiddo could get the last 7 chocolate glazed timbits. It really baffles me though, because there are so many employees in that store all the time, literally tripping over each other, but it takes the longest time to even get served, then given your stuff. 

Made the Dr Otker Lemon Cake this time. I added Lavender and used pure lemon juice and rind pieces instead of water in the icing., These packs are sooo worth it and OMG the lush amazing taste of this cake. The additions I made spot on, I didn't use margarine as said I switched in canola oil. 

Added freshly grated rind into batter as well.

Day 220 and 221 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 Apart from having the best Strawberry Rhubarb crumble pie I have ever in my entire life, did nothing yesterday but lounge so didn't bother to update. Was grateful not in the path of the Tornado yesterday and sending well wishes to those that were. 

Today just a lot of household stuff needing done. 

I saved the box from kiddos mattress and am making him a stuffed animal jail. Was looking for one and voila one for free. Have it cut out and just going to paint and then kiddo can decorate and put stuffies in. I like the concept of the vertical storage, he has way way wayyyy to many so needed a feasible idea for them.  

Was so wonderful this morning to see about 25 flower buds all open on kiddos pumpkin patch and a bee in almost every one pollinating.  Can't wait for them to grow. Can only imagine how many by mid October. 

Day 219 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 Private day.  A birthday/celebration of life for family member who passed in November. So not a share. 

But did have fun with good food and friends and some wine of course. I drank to much and ate well past fasting time but didn't count today. 

Kiddo played in the pool with some new pool toys. 

  

I am very proud at how clean and clear I keep it. 

Day 218 of 365 Days of Life and Stuffz

 Kiddo went and got fresh with a new do today. 

Pick not the best as the wind was lowing, but he has a perfect boy cut. 

Oooh Dollarama you are shady. They have upped to 5 bucks I guess since last week; but they have stuff still priced at 4 bucks but ringing up at 4.75 and 5 bucks. Would never have bought anything over 4 bucks, but was to late when I realized what they were doing. The shelves said 4 for 2 specific items but over charged. As with Dollarama anyway , if you do not catch it before they cash out, you are screwed. They do not refund in anyway and make you get something else off the shelf. I saw too late that they had done me dirty to be able to even grab something else. That will be the last ever visit to Dollarama, sticking with Dollar Tree. They have pretty cool stuff for a buck 50. 

Did a mini haul today with a couple more things for the cricut. But they have peg board and hangers etc.
